As an Independent Researcher for the Norwegian Refugee Council, I led a team of four to investigate refugee and internally displaced women’s’ rights to land after conflict in Cote d’Ivoire using participatory research methods. Findings and recommendations were developed to inform the NRC’s future programming in Cote d’Ivoire, and globally within the organization’s Displaced Women’s Rights to Land, Housing and Property. Responsibilities included design of research tool, data collection in rural sites in Western and Northern Cote d’Ivoire, and analysis and writing of final report. For a copy of the report, click here.
