Catholic Relief Services (CRS)
I have done several projects for Catholic Relief Services. I served as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Land Conflict & Gender Specialist for the 2012 Catholic Relief Services “Summer Institute for Peace” in Accra, Ghana, which examined the intersections of land rights and CRS’s agriculture, peace and food security work. I facilitated learning sessions on “Introduction to Land Tenure and Property Rights,” and “Viewing LTPR through an Equity and Gender Lens,” and served as an SME throughout the workshop. I created an online learning portal to capture lessons and actions from the institute. In 2010 and 2011 I also conducted two studies for Catholic Relief Services in Burkina Faso: one on women's application of climate-smart agriculture techniques, and another on women's access to land, markets and institutions in the eastern part of the country.
